Robert Smith (Co-Founder)
Robert (Bob) Smith has over 28-years of experience in the field of corrections. He started his 28-year career in the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections (PADOC) as a Corrections Officer in 1990 at SCI Dallas, a medium security facility for men. In 1993 he transferred to SCI Coal Township, also a medium security facility for men, and was promoted through the ranks of Sergeant, Lieutenant, Captain and Unit Manager. In 2007 he transferred to SCI Muncy, a close security facility for women, as Major of the Guard. He was promoted to Deputy Superintendent for Facilities Management in 2008 and appointed as Superintendent of Muncy in 2014. He served in that capacity until his retirement in 2018. In 2020, Bob returned to the PADOC as an annuitant Superintendent to oversee the implementation and operation of a reception/quarantine facility for men at SCI Retreat, which served as a mitigation measure for the COVID-19 pandemic. He continues his involvement in the correctional community. Bob is a U.S. Air Force veteran.
